The Church Brew Works

Our first pub in PA, woohoo!

The Church Brew Works, is in 'uptown' Pittsburgh, a short ride from 'downtown'. The church has not been modified very much, it still has the alter, stained-glass windows, pews, organ, etc. Apparently some people come in and are a little freaked out, but I just said "Beer is proof that God loves us, and wants us to be happy!" :D :toast:

In any case, we ordered a sampler, and they brought out 8 damn - oh i mean - darn fine beers! There was an amazing Coconut Stout. Our 9th 'sample' was a hell - oops - I mean heck of a good IPA. Most of the beers even had 'religious' names.

We only had a pizza, but it was very good.

We tried to go to Penn Brewing, but it was closed on the 4th of July! :( :o :?:
