Otto's and North Country

North Country was first actually, 6/29. They are near the Western edge of PA. They have good beer and good food. We liked the IPA a lot.

Otto's near State College today 7/5. Cask IPA was good, Cask Porter was very good. Double D IPA (You can't make these things up! ) was really good! :D Food was also quit tasty.

Laurie had Pale Ale which she reports was very good and Stout, which was ok.

In between, we hit 9 other Brew Pubs during the other 5 days, in Ohio and mostly Michigan!

I'll get around to them eventually, but the best beer I've had in LONG time was a Russian Imperial Stout, aged in an oak cask for 5 years! SPECTACULAR! :toast:

sounds like one hell of a trip Tom! 11 brew pubs in less then a week......awesome
A fine beer may be judged with only one sip, but it's better to be thoroughly sure.
