Here's another idea for the Pennsylvania list.

My Google Map:

Brewpub: The Gem & Keystone

Hike 1: Appalachian Trail, Mt Minsi
Start at the Lake Lenape, and follow the A.T. up to a small stand of conifers at the top. 2 miles each way with about a 1000' climb.

Hike 2: Delaware Water Gap PA Waterfalls
Several maps are available from the National Park Service. Check the Woods & Waterfalls bulletin (rightmost column) for some good ideas. For instance, Raymondskill Falls up at the northern end of the PA side of the park. There are plenty of other places; see the various Bulletins on the NPS site.

Happy hiking,

WOW Jeff! You weren't kidding about wanting to jump right into VNB PA. It sounds like you have done a lot of these yourself as well as the research? Thanks so much! We shall have to do some traveling.......
