Rules
- This challenge is open to children under 18 (and
their parents, grandparents, or other adult mentors. e.g. - family friend, aunt, etc.) who have:
- Visited at least 12 Leantos in New York State - Click here for some suggestions on where to find leantos.
- Stayed over night in at least 1 Leanto
- Cooked at least 1 meal at a Leanto
- Visited at least 1 Leanto in Winter
The
last 3 activities can be combined, or done separately.
The intent is to create a fun way to introduce children to hiking and camping, and motivate them to reach a goal.
