** - These peaks contain significant challenges for hikers and should not be attempted without proper experience, skills or guidance. Most issues are navigational in nature, as these peaks involve significant off trail travel.

Letter designations:
• - Marked and easily followed trail.
H - Herd Path/Bushwhack or Unmarked trail to summit.
F - Firetower Peak
P - Private Property - Permission needed to climb.


Interactive Peak Locator

The peak locator is powered by Google Maps and enhanced by EZ Map. It's quite simple and intuitive to use. Click the marker bubbles for peak info and use the controls in the upper left to zoom in (+) or out (-) and move the map around. The map is also dragable, so click anywhere and just drag it. The map is currently centered over the Western Catskills.

Tip: If the marker bubbles appear too close to each other, zoom in some and they will spread further apart.
